Louisa was raised on a multitude of artists and genres, but her parents regularly played Billy Joel, Kenny Rogers, Paul Simon, James Taylor, Joni Mitchell, Cat Stevens, and others. Her sisters made sure she also heard lots of Taylor Swift, ABBA, Sufjan Stevens, and many a broadway album. Now she listens to a blend of genres but always comes back to Bob Dylan, Woody Guthrie, Leith Ross, The Cure, Adrianne Lenker, Kevin Atwater, Jake Minch, Leanna Firestone, Noah Kahan and Hozier.

Louisa was born and raised in the Shenandoah Valley, between the Blue Ridge Mountains. She was singing before she could talk and began writing songs at the age of 6. She was introduced to acting at her local community theatre and later began pursuing film acting. She has a deep passion for nature, community and justice, all of which can be seen in her art.
